I was in Chicago for a hot minute over Labor Day Weekend. The main attraction for my visit was to be a part of the illMuslims 1st Birthday Bash Party. The event was loads of fun! In addition I got to hang out with my nearest and dearest high school friends and attend a Cubs game. Believe it or not I've never been to a baseball game before - EVER! Therefore I had a blast and enjoyed every minute of attending my first baseball game at Wrigley Field (Cubs won by the way!).
I hung out with my Persian girlies majority of the time and we attempted to do touristy things but it was blistering hot that we gave just gave up - mostly because out Lyft driver ended up being an awesome and hilarious Persian guy who gave us a tour of the city. We managed to stop by Garrett Popcorn and stock up on some goodies!
I also set out to find the Greetings from Chicago Mural in Logan Square on this trip - mission accomplished. It took my a while to track an exact address down but after much trolling the Internet I did. To make every one's life easier - here it is: 2226 N Milwaukee Ave, 60647.
It was a short but sweet trip filled with lots of laughter surrounded by awesome people! I had a blast and can't wait to go back to Chicago!
